McWilliams Academy is an accredited Academy by the Great Commission Theological Institute Accreditation (GCTIA), the International Commission for Education Accreditation Seminary (ICFEAS), the Christian Accreditation Council and Standards Commission (CACSCOM), the International Education Quality Accreditation Body (IEQAB), and the International Education Accreditation (IEDACC).

McWilliams Academy was founded in 2021 by its President, Dr. Sibusiso T. Luther, PhD. McWilliams Academy is running its services under the Great Commission Theological Institute.

This academy aims to be an institution with the best traditions in producing self-reliant, ethics-conscious, globally competitive graduates imbued with requisite skills, competencies, and the ability to be key players in the nation’s socio-economic and technological development quest.

This Academy’s learning environment comprises state-of-the-art structures, infrastructural facilities, and teaching equipment that are on par with educational institutions in developed countries.

McWilliams Academy provides a distinctive method of Higher Education through a comprehensive training experience. Students enrolled at McWilliams Academy will receive training in three key areas as outlined below:

1. MINISTRY TRAINING

McWilliams Academy prepares students to embody the work of Jesus through exceptional practical ministry training and encourages them to take initiative in all aspects of church life. Students benefit from leadership training and gain the necessary skills to make a positive impact in the world.

2. SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

Students at McWilliams Academy deepen their commitment to God through involvement with the local church, chapels, small groups, and interactions with others. They are guided by spiritually mature church and academic leaders, and participate in a mission trip to learn how to share the gospel globally.
